Tributes to Ramana Maharshi

This blog will contain personal tributes to Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi whose grace and love has flooded my life. This page will make sense only to those who follow the path of complete surrender and devotion to their Lord, whomever their personal God may be,

Hear once again My most secret, supreme word. You are very dear to Me, therefore, I shall tell this for your benefit. (18.64)


मन्मना भव मद्भक्तो मद्याजी मां नमस्कुरु ।
मामेवैष्यसि सत्यं ते प्रतिजाने प्रियोऽसि मे ॥१८- ६५॥

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज ।
अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥१८- ६६॥


Fix your mind on Me, be devoted to Me, offer service to Me, bow to Me, and you shall certainly reach Me. I promise you because you are very dear to Me. (18.65)

Set aside all meritorious deeds and religious rituals, and just surrender completely to My will with firm faith and loving devotion. I shall liberate you from all sins, the bonds of Karma. Do not grieve. (18.66)

My Beloved Father Ramana,
My delusions and confusion and doubts are finally shattered. I see you in entirety. Foolishly, I sought you in form and sound, and thus missed you entirely. Now i can see that you are all, and barring you there is nothing.




You are Krishna, Rama, Christ, The Buddha and Siva himself. There is no other. Just Thee.
My mind and heart is filled with Thee to the brim. I am all love and uncontainable joy.

I have forsaken all paths and ways, and come to Thee. I see only Thee.

I do not grieve, how can I, when there is only You ?
